Name: Miehina
Appearance: Miehina is a modern beauty. She has full lips and a curvacious form, which is, of course, usually hidden under kimono. Standing at 5'4" without her okobo, she is tall for her age. Although she is only fifteen, she acts mature compared to her peers.
History: Through and through a Tokyo girl, Miehina (born under the name Komatsu Kuniko) spent most of her childhood in Kagurazaka, a Tokyo hanamachi. Her mother was a prominent geisha there who retired to marry her danna, a kyogen actor. She was the oldest of three children.
Having studied dance since the age of six, it was understood that Miehina would eventually take up some kind of traditional career. Neither of her parents wanted her to become a geisha; they both hoped she would be accepted into a Takarazuka troupe. But when she was nine, Miehina's father died of consumption. Not long after that, her mother made the decision to take her to Kyoto. Because she lived in Kagurazaka, she did not want Miehina to do her geisha training there. She never explained to her daughter why she did that.
It did not take long before the okaasan of the Hara okiya in Gion agreed to take Miehina in. As the only shikomi in the okiya, Miehina's okaasan hopes that one day, she will be a geisha worthy of becoming her atotori.
Occupation: Shikomi. Maiko-to-be. Looking for an oneesan.
